Sometimes the young people worry about things that they cannot control and end up in distress.
Instead, we teach them to drench themselves with positive thoughts. We teach them to counter every negative thought with a positive one, and if they continue to practice this, they will see the impact it will have in their lives.
What bad situation are you going through?
Is there something you can do to change the situation?
Have you tried to talk to someone about it?
Have you looked for external help from your family, friends, school, work place or online?
Whatever it is, there is always a solution, however, sometimes we may not like the solution, so we prolong the problem.
So be open to change.
If you cannot see a way out, then perhaps seek professional guidance.
Try and be optimistic - optimistic people always seem to be happier because they look at everything in a positive way.
Feel Gratitude - Be grateful for what you have, remember there are some people who may not have what you have.
Avoid stressful situations - If you know that certain people stress you, then avoid them, unless they are family, in which case, get external help.
Control - Worrying about situations you have no control over only increases your stress levels. Think positively - remember, whatever is meant to be, will be.
Keep yourself occupied - An idle mind is the devil's workshop. If you do not keep yourself busy, you end up entertaining negative thoughts.
Positive Self Talk - Tell yourself something positive to build yourself up, for example, I am confident.
